So if you're reading this, you're probably interested in learning about what happened to that big website idea you may have heard rumors about. Now that I have a forum and can discuss things like this, I'll tell you.

Honestly, I'm not even going to go into details explaining what it was or how it was going to work.

Almost two years ago I found some freelance web developer in India who started the project. He was very slow, and worked in small stages. Often the work was really sloppy and he'd disappear. Eventually I ended up scrapping the project with him and just abandoning ship before wasting any more money.

About one year ago I got word of a new developer who has worked in the machinima community making websites. He was easier to communicate with, so I decided to start the project up again. He also worked very slowly, and from what I heard was just using a lot of templates. About two months ago he got married supposedly, and I haven't heard from him since. For the second time in a row I've spent a lot of money for nothing.

As you may have read in the Beta info post, I have a lot of exciting plans for the future of BPS, and I had been waiting for that website to be made in order to proceed in the most satisfactory way possible. I had a talk with a friend a week ago about this, and finally I got so motivated to just come up with something myself.

The amount I succeed or fail with BPS once I begin taking the monetization seriously will change what I do for a career for the rest of my life... and I can't let that wait for lazy web developers to get their act together.

As I mentioned, I don't really feel like explaining the original Big Website idea, but if you have any other questions feel free to ask!
