Machinima talk place

Just thought I'd start a thread where people can ask for help in machinimas or look for it.

Seems helpful, but we have websites for that.

Maybe we can post something in the thread and leave a link maybe?

Yeah, or just a discussion thread for your favorite machinimas.

Or share ideas!

Okay, so I and two good friends started making a small improv. Machinima series around November shown below. Note that I haven't put any information on my production blog or dA yet.

(Note that this video and the series has our terrible, sick, twisted, racist, and dark sense of humor, so please don't watch if you are easily offended)

POTHEAD FRIENDS Pilot Episode:

For "POTHEAD FRIENDS" we need about 5 others for an episode we call "Invasion of the Chinese Mafia" or something along the lines of that, it will be the 3rd episode in the first season.

Desc. of Episode:
While José AKA "Weedy" is eating some Moa Wings and petting his/her dead kitten, Craig notices some unexpected visitor's who've been hunting down José for several years. Craig, Pablo and José must now flee their apartment building and build a new life in an abandon power house.

I have another that I'm planning and this one was based off a RP I did in the past. I don't have all scenarios planned out yet but I am looking for few that can play the part. I have a few spots taken already and this is more on the serious side then comedic side. A total of 8 people are needed to be in a party chat and I'll list them under the Description.

Desc. of Series/Season 1:
Upon coming across an old military base, remodeled into a home by MIA soldiers of unknown origin. A washed up, rogue, Bounty Hunter must find her target among the several living at the old base.

Characters for Party Chat (*Most of these are unnamed as I am making it pleasing to the actors so I'll put the specialty.):
Mato "Lone Coyote" Mizaki: Taken
General Operations: Taken
Engineer: Taken
Medic: Open
Antagonist: Open
Jimmy/Robot Jimmy: Open (*Dies in first episode then is revived later as a robot)
Recon/Scout: Open

Special Characters (*These guy's only appear in a few episodes or are only in Game Chat. They are good for actor's who are new to improv. or those who are shy.):
Captain Beans: ? (*This character doesn't have any purpose but to be in the background as an "easter egg" and doesn't speak and can be in any episode they want.)
Private Yogurt: ? (*Same as Captain Beans)

Feel free to ask questions and if you want to act for something, I want someone who can act well on the spot and with no script. Improv. is great for sharing idea's and starting something fresh, help's get creative juices flowing. I will allow all to have a chance.

Hmm well I'm sorta in the process of making a Halo Origins-style homage short film based on T'kan/T'can(?)'s story of how humans were once part of the Covenant in the RotS timeline, permitted that my cameraman has the time and nobody cries heresy.

Im curious as how you will manage that considering T'kan, while kick ass in RotS and written for it to fit the role Arby and the crew needed, is not exactly part of the RotS universe.

Well, given the series involved in it being homage to, it in itself can't be a part of the exact not-exact 'universe' (as you said, with it being to elites of war as well as Rots/TFS, as well ad The Codes, which is set in the canon universe). Outright hijacking that 'verse would also be a bit strange given that I'm not on a personal level with any of the creators.

As I said it's more of a homage. So I'll blatantly steal borrow from the lore somewhat, but it's more about thanking the creators who have inspired me than jumping on the bandwagon.

So I had a machinima that I wanted to make had most of the maps had most of the characters and most of the lines ready then I lost funding and I haven't had the chance to pick up where I left off if anyone wants to pick up where I left off which means unfortunately making all be maps then please let me know I'll post the website that I have the scripts on so u can see what I have but I just want it made its been 5 years since I lost funding for it
